About the Guild

The Guild aims to maintain and develop the arts of weaving, spinning and dying and to encourage excellence in design.

We enjoy a conprehensive programme of speakers and workshops on a wide range of textile and fibre work and touch upon related matters such as history and archaeology.

We organise regular exhibitions of members' work and keep a library for members' use.

Everyone with an interest in textiles is welcome, whatever their level of skill or experience.

The Guild is a member of the Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers.
